Sage (Accpac) 300 ERP has come a long way, resulting a significant progress in various Tax Calculation parameters. Recently, some of our clients in Sugar Industry demanded a feature, wherein they wanted to calculate Tax based on Quantity in Sage 300 ERP.
Thus for this sort of requirement, we have come up with a Tax calculation feature in Greytrix Manufacturing Excise module for Sage 300 ERP, where Tax Groups, Tax Class, Tax Rate setting would be same as standard Tax settings. But users need to configure Tax authority as shown in the below screen shot;
In the transaction screen, we have customized O/E shipment screen to add a button called “Calculate Excise Tax Button”. Clicking on “Calculate Excise Tax Button” will calculate the tax amount based on quantity which would be updated on the header and in the details level taxes.
Hence, Users would now be able to calculate Tax based on the Quantity in the OE Shipment screen, while using the Greytrix Manufacturing Excise module for Sage 300 ERP.
