Sage CRM v7.2 has introduced a new feature to show/hide Document drop button from Communication screen.
The New Stuff: Open Sage CRM Tabs in New Window
Using Document Drop button on communication and calendar screen uses ActiveX plug-in. Until CRM v7.1 Document Drop button is compulsory visible to the users.
Sage has added a new option to control visibility of Document Drop button. For this, a new option is available under Document and Reports configuration within Sage CRM.
Administration | Email and Documents | Document and Reports Configuration | Allow ActiveX Document Drop
If Allow ActiveX Document Drop field is set as No:
If Allow ActiveX Document Drop field is set as Yes:
