Additional Emails Notifications in Sage CRM v7.3

Sage CRM has in built Escalation feature to get Real Time on screen notifications or updates on their Business. It also helps to notify about certain activities like Quote Expiration, New Opportunity etc. In this blog, we will explaining new Notification Rules that are introduced in Sage CRM v7.3.

New Stuff: No Delete option for column

The new rules can allow user to enable alerts as below.

  1. A notification to the sales manager when an opportunity stage remains the same for 1 week, specifically when an opportunity stage remains at “Proposal Submitted” or “Negotiating” for more than 7 days.
  2. An email alert to the Sales Manager if a sales rep applies a discount that’s too large.

And a range of other alerts to keep users on top of their business performance.

Kindly note it is not anticipated that the 13 new escalation rules added to the system will cause any conflicts. These can be found under the Advanced Customization > Escalation rules area.

Few Example rules include

  1. The rule “MailChimp list upload message” which uses the table marketing message which is new to Sage CRM 7.3.
  2. The rule “Lost Opportunities” which uses the existing view vNotification Opportunity.
