Sage X3 enables users to create unlimited product notes in an easy and convenient manner. You can go to the product notes section in the text menu and use the Notes screen to associate the notes to that particular product.
The following characteristics are available on the Notes creation screen:
- Effective Date – for notes which expire after a period of time.
- Category – defines what functions, like sales or purchasing, the note will be noticeable in.
- Display Options – to decide whether the note automatically snaps up when selecting the product during business transaction entry.
- Priority – helps determine the priority of this note if multiple notes be existent for a product.
On the below screen, you can also define characteristics of how and where the note will display:
