This blog post will guide you through on adding the Sage ERP X3 Code file to the eclipse folder. In Safe X3, navigate to ‘screen dictionary’ and under ‘scripts’ section, select the option ‘Editor’.
New Stuff: Customize the Title bar of the Client workstation.
Make sure you open the eclipse before clicking on ‘Editor’ and then, you will get a screen popup as shown below.
If you click on “OK”, you will get below screen.
Proceed further by clicking on ‘Next’.
On clicking of ‘Next’, you will get below screen which contains the connection details.
- The Port number should be your Sage ERP X3 port number which was set up at the time of installation. The port number can be found in Safe X3 Console.
- Modify the details if needed along with your Server authentication credentials, check the connection and finish the Setup.
- Now right click on the folder and select ‘Open SAFE X3 source file’ option. Refer below screen shot.
- Enter the code file which has to be modified and click on ‘Ok’. Now we are ready to modify or debug X3 code files in Eclipse.
