There can be occasions when you want to create and/or update multi-dimensional attribute of an object in X3 via import template. Here we are describing how to achieve it using import template.

To update a field having more than one dimension you need to specify its dimension using brackets (). Please refer below example.
Below is the import template which is use to import the customer records in X3. Here the field BPRNAME is two dimensional field and can be added as BPRNAM(0) and BPRNAM(1) if we need to update both dimension.
Now we can treate this BPRNAM(0) and BPRNAM(1) as two different fields and can pass two values seperated by field seperator of import template.
Please note if you don’t specify the dimension for multi dimensional fields then by defaut X3 will update the value in dimension zero (0).
