You may come across the situation, where you may want to give selection window for customer contact.
In Sage X3, we can add selection (F12 functionality) and filter the selection records as per our requirement.
Follow below steps to add F12 selection functionality for Customer contact:
1. Add the Button field action on field and mention the action name as “GOBJETC”.
2.After adding Button action to the field as shown above, add Action parameter values to corresponding properties of action (“OBJCLEC” and “OBJETC” property) as shown above.
“GOBJETC” Action: This action is used to provide a selection window.
OBJCLEC: This property allows us to filter Customer based on BP’s by assigning BP (Business partner).
OBJETC: This is the property which describes the object.
3. After above steps, validate the screen.
4. Go to respective window of screen and validate window.
