How to Open a Word Document from an Adonix Process

By | December 2, 2016

If we want to open particular word document from an adonix process. We can use “System” command, which makes possible the execution of system commands by recovering where possible the standard exit in an Adonix variable.

Syntax:

System [ variable ‘=’ ] [ ! | !! ] [ [ server ] @ ] expr_c

Where Variable – Variable name; server – Alphanumeric expression where the result is the name of a server; expr_c – Alphanumeric expression where the result is a system command.

Snippet:

open a word document

Comments:

If the characters ‘#@’ are specified at the start of the string, adonix will execute the command on local machine.

Hope this helps!
