This blog provides a step by step process to perform Kit Assembly in Acumatica ERP<\/a>– From Creating Kit Inventory Item with Components, Kit specification to executing the assembly and sell the final kit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

See the below Steps,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 1: Create a Kit Inventory Item.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Navigation: Inventory \u2192 Stock Items (or Non-Stock Items)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Click + New Record<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Fill In below details,<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    -Mention Inventory ID:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    -Mention Item Status:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    -Mention Description:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    -Mention Item Class:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

         3.  Under the General Setting Tab \u2192 Item Defaults:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

               Set = Unable Kit Assembly<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Step 2: Define Skit Specification.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Navigation: Inventory \u2192 Kit Specifications<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    1. Click + New Record<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. Select Your Kit Inventory<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    3. Enter Revision Id<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    4. In the Component Tab:<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    5. Add Each Component Item<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    6. Enter Qty, UOM, and Position if Required<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    7. Save the Record<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      Step 3: Verify Component Inventory Availability.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Navigation: Inventory \u2192 Inventory Summary<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Action:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      1. Search for each component Item<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      2. Review Quantity Available and On Hand<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

        Step 4: Perform Kit Assembly.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

        Navigation: Inventory \u2192 Kit Assembly<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        Action:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        1. Click + New Record<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        2. Select:<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

          -Mention Kit Inventory Id<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          -Mention Warehouse<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          -Mention Assembly Quantity<\/p>\n\n\n\n

               3. Click Add Kit Assembly Line Item<\/p>\n\n\n\n

               4. Click on Release.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          Step 5: Use the Kit Id in Sale Order.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

          Action:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          1. Create Sale Order<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          2. Add the Kit Item<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          3. Mention Quantity.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          4. Click on Release.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          5. Then After Successfully Payment and status Closed, the on-hand quantity, Available quantity will be \u201c0\u2019<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          6. And Sale Order Stats will be \u201cCompleted\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
