It&#8217;s a lifesaver for daily operations, troubleshooting rogue workflow updates, and keeping teams accountable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/creatio\/\">Creatio<\/a> has a robust built-in Change Log, but most end users don&#8217;t want to navigate deep into system settings every time they need to check who changed a field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Let\u2019s take an example of how we can track certain fields in the <strong>Opportunity<\/strong> object in Creatio and display those updates with a single click right on the record page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-medium-font-size\">Step 1: Enable Logging on the Opportunity Object<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Before you can show historical changes, you have to tell Creatio what to listen for.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Click the gear icon to open <strong>Settings<\/strong>, then head to <strong>Change Log<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Find the <strong>Opportunity<\/strong> object in the list.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Toggle on <strong>Enable logging<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click <strong>Add<\/strong> under the Logged Columns section and select the specific fields you want to monitor (e.g., <em>Budget<\/em>, <em>Category<\/em>, <em>Decision maker<\/em>, <em>Opportunity amount<\/em>, <em>Stage<\/em>, <em>Type<\/em>). <br><br>Look, you don&#8217;t need to track everything.
