Maintaining strong and consistent communication with customers enables organizations to better understand their clients\u2019 needs and expectations, leading to more timely and accurate fulfillment of those needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Creatio supports this objective by offering a variety of flexible communication channels, including live chat, phone calls, and email, allowing businesses to engage with their customers seamlessly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Creatio can be deployed either as a cloud-based (online) solution or installed on-premises (desktop version). It\u2019s important to note that <strong>email configuration differs between the two deployment models<\/strong>. In the <strong>on-premises version<\/strong>, users must manually install and configure the <strong>Exchange Listener<\/strong> service on the server, as this service is not included by default. In contrast, the <strong>cloud version<\/strong> of Creatio comes with the Exchange Listener service pre-installed. Below are the steps to install Exchangelistener service:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Install Redis On system:<br>Considering this is the mandatory step to install Creatio on premises, Redis must be installed on server. If not install Redis first.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Install Docker on the server using below link:<br><a href=\"https:\/\/docs.docker.com\/get-started\/get-docker\/\">Docker for windows<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Once the docker is installed on server, first you need to pull image for ExchangeListener service into your docker. To do this run below command in PowerShell:<br><strong>docker pull bpmonline\/exchangelistener:0.8.65<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Once command is ran successfully in PowerShell, check Docker desktop\u2019s image tab to verify whether image is created properly or not. Refer below:<br><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<center><a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/creatio\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/Img-1.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full\" style=\"border: 1px solid #A9A9A9; padding: 0px; margin: 20px; align: center;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/creatio\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/Img-1.jpg\" alt=\"Docker Image\"><\/a><\/center><font size=\"2\"><center><i>Docker Image<\/i><\/center><\/font>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Now, next step is to add container for exchange listener, for this run below command in Powershell:<br><strong>docker run -d -p 8080:80 &#8211;restart unless-stopped &#8211;env ExchangeListenerRedisHost=host.docker.internal:6379 &#8211;env ExchangeListenerRedisDatabase=0 &#8211;env PodName=ExchangeListener &#8211;name ExchangeListener bpmonline\/exchangelistener:0.8.65<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Once this command is ran successfully in powershell, you can see \u201cExchangeListener\u201d container in Docker desktop. Refer below:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<center><a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/creatio\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/Img-2.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full\" style=\"border: 1px solid #A9A9A9; padding: 0px; margin: 20px; align: center;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/creatio\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/Img-2.jpg\" alt=\"Container Image\"><\/a><\/center><font size=\"2\"><center><i>Container Image<\/i><\/center><\/font>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>To verify whether the ExchangeListener service is insatlled correctly in Dcoker, click on arrow shown in above image in Port(s) column. You should get below screen:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<center><a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/creatio\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/Img-3.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full\" style=\"border: 1px solid #A9A9A9; padding: 0px; margin: 20px; align: center;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/creatio\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/Img-3.jpg\" alt=\"Status Screen\"><\/a><\/center><font size=\"2\"><center><i>Status Screen<\/i><\/center><\/font>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>If you get this screen it means Exchangelistener is successfully added into Docker. Now, you need to update two settings in Creatio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Go to System Designer.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click on \u201cSystem Settings\u201d.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Search for setting by name \u201c<strong>EmailListenerServiceUri<\/strong>\u201d.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Set \u201c<strong>&lt;&lt;Creatio Installation address>>\/api\/listeners<\/strong>\u201d this value and click on save.
