In this blog, we will explain the use and benefits of Purchase Order Entry Screen where you have set default values while creating the new Purchase order.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">In <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sagesoftware.co.in\/product-sage-300-erp\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Sage 300 ERP<\/strong><\/a><strong>, <\/strong>users have the provision to make Templates to set accurate details by default in Purchase Order Transaction and also save his\/her Data Entry Work to improve Productivity.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><strong><em>New Stuff:\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sageaccpacerp\/2015\/07\/23\/migrate-credit-note-from-sage-business-vision-to-sage-300-erp\/\" target=\"_blank\">Migrate Credit Note from Sage Business Vision to Sage 300 ERP<\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">By using this provision, users can make different types of Templates for each Purchase Order Type such as Active \/ Standing \/ Future \/ Blanket etc.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">To access the Template screen for Purchase Order Module; Go to <u>Purchase Order &gt;&gt; P\/O Setup &gt; &gt;Templates<\/u>.<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify\">\n<li>Templates screen can be used to create new template or edit the existing ones. With the Template code, one can specify the default values for Vendors as well as fill in the purchase order description in the Purchase Order Entry screen.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sageaccpacerp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/Vendor9.png\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" size-full wp-image-12050 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sageaccpacerp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/Vendor9.png\" alt=\"Vendor\" width=\"572\" height=\"386\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify\">\n<li>Order tab\u00a0is used to set the following default information: (Refer the above screen shot.)\\<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">1.<strong>PO type:<\/strong>\u00a0PO type such as \u201cActive\u201d, \u201cStanding\u201d, &#8220;Future&#8221; and \u201cBlanket\u201d.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">2.<strong>FOB point:<\/strong>\u00a0Optional FOB (\u201cFree On Board\u201d) point<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">3.\u00a0<strong>Ship To<\/strong> <strong>Location:<\/strong>\u00a0This will be the Inventory location where the Item will be shipped.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">4.\u00a0<strong>Bill To<\/strong> <strong>Location:<\/strong>\u00a0This will be the mainly Head Office location where the Item will be Billed.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">5.\u00a0User can set other optional information, such as \u201cDescription\u201d, \u201cReference\u201d and \u201cComment\u201d for the \u00a0\u00a0Purchase order.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">6.\u00a0<strong>On hold:<\/strong>\u00a0Defines whether the Purchase order will be \u201cOn Hold\u201d or not.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sageaccpacerp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/Vendor10.png\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-12051 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sageaccpacerp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/Vendor10.png\" alt=\"Vendor\" width=\"571\" height=\"387\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify\">\n<li>Vendor Tab\u00a0is used to specify the following information:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">1.\u00a0<strong>Ship-via:<\/strong>\u00a0It will be used for specifying Shipping method.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">2.\u00a0<strong>Tax group:<\/strong>\u00a0In Multicurrency accounting;
