Hence G\/L Integration is a crucial activity as it enables to keep a control over all the transactions of any enterprise. All the transactions flows from various modules to the General ledger. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sagesoftware.co.in\/product-sage-300-erp\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Sage 300 ERP<\/a> enables the administrator to configure the G\/L transaction settings.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The administrator can create batches in G\/L with three options<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify\">\n<li><strong>Adding to an Existing Batch<\/strong>. \u00a0Choose this option if you want to add new general ledger transactions to the existing batches.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify\">\n<li><strong>Creating a New Batch<\/strong>. \u00a0Choose this option if you want to produce a new general ledger batch each time you create general ledger transactions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify\">\n<li><strong>Creating and Posting a New Batch<\/strong>. \u00a0Choose this option if you want to create and automatically post a new general batch when you create general ledger transactions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>New Stuff:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sageaccpacerp\/2015\/07\/31\/ar-options-customer-national-account-and-group-statistics-include-tax-in-statistics-in-sage-300-erp\/\" target=\"_blank\">AR Options \u2014 Customer National Account and Group Statistics \u2014 Include Tax in Statistics in Sage 300 ERP<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">In the case when we choose \u201cCREATE G\/L TRANSACTION BY\u201d Adding to an Existing Batch<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sageaccpacerp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/11.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-12210 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sageaccpacerp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/11.jpg\" alt=\"1\" width=\"578\" height=\"453\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Then we make two entries from AP Invoice, and we can see two distinct entries in the A\/R batch list.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sageaccpacerp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/21.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-12211 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sageaccpacerp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/21.jpg\" alt=\"2\" width=\"624\" height=\"354\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">And as the option selected as \u201cadding to an existing batch\u201d, the entries are grouped into one G\/L batch in the G\/L batch list.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">As in the below screenshot, we can see the number of entries are two in one single batch.<a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sageaccpacerp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/4.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-12213 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sageaccpacerp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/4.jpg\" alt=\"4\" width=\"624\" height=\"319\" \/><\/a>Thus all the entries can be added into a single batch and it reduces the work of the approver who has to post the batches.
