It provides lots of features to maintain inventory data of a number of different domains like Manufacturing, Trading, Banking, Insurance, Automobile, etc. In this blog, we are going to discuss IC Location settings of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sagesoftware.co.in\/product-sage-300-erp\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Sage 300<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Follow these steps to open <strong>\u2018I\/C Location\u2019,<\/strong> Inventory Control \u2192 I\/C Setup \u2192 Location.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sageaccpacerp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/aa.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-12300 \" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sageaccpacerp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/aa.jpg\" alt=\"aa\" width=\"451\" height=\"391\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">IC Location screen is basically used for creating \u2018Locations\u2019 in other modules of Sage 300 like OE and PO. Users can define the locations where the organization\u2019s godowns, warehouse, etc. are located. For example, the organization has 4 godowns in \u2018India\u2019 where they have an inventory of their goods like \u2018New Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, and Punjab\u2019. In that case, users can create locations as shown in above figures.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><em>New Stuff:\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sageaccpacerp\/2015\/08\/11\/migrating-ar-payment-terms-from-sage-businessworks-to-sage-300-erp-using-gumu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Migrating AR Payment Terms from Sage BusinessWorks to Sage 300 ERP using GUMU&#x2122;<\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">There are two types of locations the user can be defined.<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>Physical<\/li>\n<li>Logical<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Physical locations are those which exist like Cities as explained earlier. Logical locations are like Flights, Trains, Trucks, and Tempos.
