Often people ask for functionality where they can combine multiple PO\u2019s into one so that they can maintain a single document for all open Items against a particular vendor and have single PO Receipt, plus sometimes enjoy reduced Freight obligations.<\/p>\n

Considering the need for this feature we have introduced a very simple and easy to use PO Merger Add-on for Sage Accpac ERP.<\/p>\n

It is a custom screen where you just need to select a Vendor and All Open Purchase Orders would be listed, if any of the PO\u2019s has a partial receipt against it then it is notified in the \u201cReceipts\u201d column for the user so that he can decide if he would like to merge a partially received PO or just leave it. To merge a PO user just need to double click \u201cMerge PO\u201d cell of that row and set its value to \u201cYES\u201d.\u00a0A user can select a Master PO Number to merge the PO\u2019s in existing Purchase Order or he can create a new PO just by leaving the field as is. Once the selections are done user just needs to click on the process button and PO\u2019s would be merged.
