E-TDS file validation utility has been changed by NSDL which is applicable from 1st July 2012. \u00a0eTDS file must be validated with file validation utility version 3.5 for current filing.
\nWe have made changes in our Greytrix TDS for Sage (Accpac) 300 ERP for this.
\nNote: eTDS statement for 2012-13 first quarter is to be filed on or before July 15,2012.<\/strong>
\nApplying the e-TDS Patch:<\/strong>
\nTo generate e-file in\u00a0TDS Module\u00a0you need to apply the patch. The following instructions will help you in applying the Patch.
\n1.<\/strong> \u00a0It is recommended that a complete backup of application and data<\/strong> should be done before performing the below task.
\n2.<\/strong> \u00a0Please follow the below steps to copy the DLL files
\na) \u00a0If Sage (Accpac) 300 ERP (Version 6.0A)<\/strong>
\nCopy the file \u201cHF6.0-ETDS-with-3.5FVU.zip<\/a><\/strong>\u201d into <Sage>\\DT60A
\nb) If Sage \u00a0(Accpac) 300 ERP (Version 5.6A)<\/strong>
\nCopy the file \u201cHF5.6-ETDS-with-3.5FVU.zip<\/a><\/strong>\u201d into <Sage>\\DT56A
\nc) If Sage \u00a0(Accpac) 300 ERP (Version 5.5A)<\/strong>
\nCopy the file \u201cHF5.5-ETDS-with-3.5FVU.zip<\/a><\/strong>\u201d into <Sage>\\DT55A
\n3.<\/strong> \u00a0Run below SQL Query\u00a0against Sage (Accpac) 300 ERP company database in SQL Server\u00a0\u201cTRUNCATE TABLE DTEFILE\u201d<\/strong>
\n4.<\/strong> \u00a0Go to Sage (Accpac) 300 ERP desktop >>Tax Deducted at Source >>D\/T Setup->Upgrade and click on proceed<\/strong> button
\n5.<\/strong> \u00a0Re-open the company
\n6.<\/strong> \u00a0Now you can generate e- file, which is required for quarterly return of TDS from Greytrix TDS module. Kindly follow the below steps to generate the e\u2013TDS file for TDS return.
\nGenerate e-file from TDS module:<\/strong>
\nNow that you have applied the patch you are all set to generate the e-TDS Quarterly return. To generate the file go to the Tax Deducted at Source >>D\/T TDS Forms >>Form 26Q\/27Q
\n\"\"<\/a>
\nProvide the required parameter and select the quarter for which you want to generate e-file.
\nImportant: The e-file should have valid Pin Code, Pan Card numbers of Party, etc. So ensure you have correct values entered in the TDS Module Validation part which are required to generate E-file from TDS module. Below is a list which is validated by NSDL<\/strong>
\n– \u00a0PINCODE should be valid in Sage (Accpac) 300 ERP company profile
\n– \u00a0PIN CODE should be valid in Responsible person screen [e.g. 400071].
\n– \u00a0Telephone number and mobile number should be valid\u00a0in Responsible person screen (e.g.\u00a0 02267687812).(e.g. 9876543210)
\n– \u00a0Responsible person email should be valid (@ & . are compulsory)
\n– \u00a0Pan card number of party detail should be valid
\n– \u00a0PAN TAN, Tel no and email in TDS OPTIONS screen should be valid
\n– \u00a0All documents should be posted in Remittance screen, and Challan number, Challan date, BSR code should be provided for all remitted transaction.
\nValidating the e-File with NSDL FVU3.5<\/strong>
\nBefore you submit the file, ensure that the file is correct in all aspects by validating the same using the validation utility provided by NSDL. Please follow the below process to perform the validation.
\n1. \u00a0Once you have Generated e-file, next step would be to download TDS Validation utility from NSDL and install it on your system.
\n2. \u00a0Refer \u00a0the below screen, to install the validation utility:
\n\"\"<\/a>
\n3. \u00a0Once you successfully installed the software, then follow the below steps:
\n\u00a0 \u00a0 a.<\/strong> \u00a0Go to directory path where you have installed e-TDS validation utility[e.g. D:\\TDS_FVU_3.5]
\n\u00a0 \u00a0 b.<\/strong>\u00a0Click on \u201cTDS_FVU.bat\u201d you will see the below screen
\n\"\"<\/a>
\n\u00a0 \u00a0c<\/strong>. \u00a0TDS \/ TCS Input File<\/strong>
\ni) \u00a0 \u00a0Specify the name (with the .txt extension) of the input file (including the path) i.e. the name of the e-TDS\/TCS statement prepared as per file format to be validated by the FVU.
\nii) \u00a0\u00a0Input filename should not be more than 12 characters (including the .txt extension) and should not contain any special characters e.g. \u00a0: , \\ \/<\/strong> etc.,. Extension of Input file should be in small case. For example Filename can be FORM26EQ.txt
\n\u00a0 \u00a0d.<\/strong> \u00a0Challan Input File:\u00a0<\/strong>Please keep this path as empty
\n\u00a0 \u00a0e<\/strong>. \u00a0Error\/Upload & Statistics Report File: <\/strong>Specify the path where either an ‘error’ or ‘upload & statistics report \u00a0files’ generated by the FVU on completion of validation should be saved.\u00a0 The path can be same as the input file path or different.\u00a0 Do not specify any filename, only provide the path.<\/strong>
\n\u00a0 \u00a0f. \u00a0Consolidation file name with path: <\/strong>Please keep this path as empty
\n\u00a0 \u00a0g<\/strong>. \u00a0Click on validate button, if error occurred then please check error file [e.g. F26Q124err.html ]
