Today we are going to review another important feature of Sage 300 ERP which is Number of Fiscal periods.<\/p>\n

New Stuff:<\/strong><\/em> A\/R Customer List Screen<\/a><\/p>\n

User can locate the Number of Fiscal Periods option on sage 300 ERP desktop under the path:<\/p>\n

Common Service-> Fiscal Calendar-> Options tab<\/p>\n

\"Company<\/a><\/p>\n

Fiscal year is basically calendar year. But what makes is different from calendar year is number of Periods that a one Fiscal year can have.<\/p>\n

This is what exactly the above option defines. In sage 300 ERP Number of Fiscal periods can be\u00a012 or 13.<\/p>\n

Fiscal periods 12 define that periods are divided into calendar months i.e. each period represents the month from a year.<\/p>\n

A Fiscal year with 13 periods has period of 4 weeks. But here Month will be of 28 days.<\/p>\n

If user selects the Fiscal Periods 13 then user has to define the number of quarters with 4 periods.<\/p>\n

\n\"Fiscal<\/a>Number of Fiscal periods: 12\"Fiscal<\/a>So this is very useful feature as number of fiscal period within year can be handled using this option.<\/p>\n
