{"id":15189,"date":"2017-02-17T10:51:19","date_gmt":"2017-02-17T10:51:19","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sageaccpacerp\/?p=15189"},"modified":"2024-02-26T09:06:26","modified_gmt":"2024-02-26T09:06:26","slug":"adding-new-note-to-ap-module","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sageaccpacerp\/2017\/02\/17\/adding-new-note-to-ap-module\/","title":{"rendered":"Adding new note to A\/P Module"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In our earlier blog, we had discussed about the new feature introduced in Sage 300 version 2017 i.e. Notes.\u00a0Going further, in this blog we will discuss about how we can add notes A\/P Module.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em><strong>New Stuff:\u00a0<\/strong><\/em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sageaccpacerp\/2017\/02\/13\/optional-field-validation-on-order-entry-screen\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Optional field Validation on Order Entry Screen\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>On the Sage 300 desktop toolbar, click Notes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-15190\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sageaccpacerp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/Img-1.jpg\" alt=\"Note icon on toolbar\" width=\"857\" height=\"113\" \/><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">On the Notes screen, click Create New.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">If a particular Vendor is specified in the fields at the top of the Notes screen, the new note is assigned to that record by default.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-15191\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sageaccpacerp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/Img-2.jpg\" alt=\"Create New Note screen\" width=\"811\" height=\"509\" \/><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">On the Create Note screen, enter details for the note.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Enter note content in the text editor, and also enter information in the following fields:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-15192\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sageaccpacerp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/img.jpg\" alt=\"Added Note screen\" width=\"803\" height=\"578\" \/><\/p>\n<ol style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>Note for Vendor Number. Specify the Vendor that the note is for.<\/li>\n<li>A note can be assigned to only one record: here it is assigned to a Vendor.<\/li>\n<li>Active on Specific Dates. Select this option to make the note active during a specific period of time. After you select this option, specify the dates when the note will be active in the Active From and Active To fields.<\/li>\n<li>Cannot be Dismissed. This option is selected by default.
