{"id":16140,"date":"2017-07-18T09:18:22","date_gmt":"2017-07-18T09:18:22","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sageaccpacerp\/?p=16140"},"modified":"2024-03-12T05:21:13","modified_gmt":"2024-03-12T05:21:13","slug":"auto-update-ship-to-address-for-open-orders-in-sage-300-erp","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sageaccpacerp\/2017\/07\/18\/auto-update-ship-to-address-for-open-orders-in-sage-300-erp\/","title":{"rendered":"Auto-Update Ship-To-Address for Open Orders in Sage 300 ERP"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Recently we have done a customization on A\/R Ship To Locations screen to auto update the Ship-To-Address where our customer was looking for updating the Ship-To-Address for all the open orders when saving the changes for the specific location address of the customer.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>New Stuff: <\/strong>\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sageaccpacerp\/2017\/07\/15\/auto-update-bill-to-address-for-open-orders-in-sage-300-erp\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Auto-Update Bill-To-Address for Open Orders in Sage 300 ERP<\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In this blog, we would be discussing about functionality of auto updating the Ship-To-Address.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><u>Step 1: <\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">User makes some changes in the Address for the customer&#8217;s location. We have selected the customer 1200 and Location \u201cWAREHS\u201d from the Sample Database and added the new address line \u201cAddress Line 3\u201d and Saved the changes.<br \/>\nWhile saving the changes the user is prompted for updating all the open Orders.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sageaccpacerp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/1-2.png\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-16179\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sageaccpacerp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/1-2.png\" alt=\"AR Ship to location \" width=\"690\" height=\"621\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><u>Step 2:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">When the user selects the \u201cYes\u201d from the prompt then the Ship-To-Address for all the open orders with customer \u201c1200\u201d and Ship To Locations \u201cWAREHS\u201d is updated. User is provided the message box with the number of orders updated and the updated order numbers are stored in the LogFile generated with current system date on the displayed path.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sageaccpacerp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/2.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-16143\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sageaccpacerp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/2.png\" alt=\"Pop Up Message \" width=\"458\" height=\"126\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><u>Step 3:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The update information is displayed in the Log file.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sageaccpacerp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/3.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-16144\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sageaccpacerp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/3.png\" alt=\"Log File\" width=\"725\" height=\"168\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><u>Step 4:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">When we verify the order \u201cORD000000000001\u201d from the Log file, we can see that the new changes in the Address of the customer&#8217;s Ship Location is reflected for the order.
