In this blog we will look\u00a0how to check customer credit status in sage 300 web screen.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em><strong>New Stuff:\u00a0<\/strong><\/em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sageaccpacerp\/2017\/07\/18\/auto-update-ship-to-address-for-open-orders-in-sage-300-erp\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Auto-Update Ship-To-Address for Open Orders in Sage 300 ERP<\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A new credit status tab on AR customer has been introduced in sage 300 web screen patch 2 i.e. in Product update 2.This Credit status tab displays credit status, outstanding balances, and other credit-related information for customers and national accounts.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">User can utilize the Credit Status tab on the A\/R Customers screen to look up the following information:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">The balance outstanding in Accounts Receivable for the customer and the national account (if the customer is a member of a national account).<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Pending balance for the customer in Accounts Receivable, Order Entry, or third-party programs that integrate with Accounts Receivable, if credit-check options include transactions pending in those programs.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Retainage outstanding for the customer, if you use retainage accounting in Accounts Receivable.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">The overdue balance that exceeds the threshold specified for the customer outstanding transaction balances.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">The number of open invoices, the total invoices paid to date, and the total and average number of days to pay them.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sageaccpacerp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/credit-1.png\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-16149\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sageaccpacerp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/credit-1.png\" alt=\"Web Screen- AR Customer Credit status\" width=\"624\" height=\"351\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>User can follow below steps to check credit information for a customer:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Open\u00a0Accounts Receivable\u00a0&gt;\u00a0A\/R\u00a0Customers\u00a0&gt;\u00a0Customers.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">In the\u00a0Customer Number\u00a0field, enter the customer number, and then press\u00a0Tab.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Click the\u00a0Credit Status\u00a0tab.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sageaccpacerp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/Credit-2.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-16150\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sageaccpacerp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/Credit-2.png\" alt=\"Account receivable module\" width=\"1021\" height=\"543\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<ol start=\"4\">\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">The screen also present with some filters. User can specify filter criteria for documents, and then click\u00a0Apply button to display record according to criteria selected.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><strong>Aged By<\/strong>.-This option is specify whether to age documents by due date or by document date.\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Due date<\/strong>:\u00a0Current transactions are those with due dates that are later than the Age As Of date. The first period starts with one day past the due date.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Document date<\/strong>: The first period includes transactions with document dates that are earlier than the Age As Of date. Current transactions are those with the same or later date than the Age As Of date.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Age as of<\/strong>: &#8211; This option is specify the date as of which you want to age transaction balances (such as by todays date or the last statement date).<\/li>\n<li><strong>Cutoff Date<\/strong>: &#8211; This option is specify a cutoff date, so user can include or exclude transactions that are more recent than the &#8220;As Of&#8221; date.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Include Payments<\/strong>: &#8211; This option is specify whether to age amounts from prepayments that have not been applied to specific documents, or include them all in the current period.
