In this blog, we are going to discuss what void Credit Card Pre-authorization process is and how to use void Credit Card Pre-authorization.<\/p>\n

New Stuff:<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0Cannot connect to WMI provider Error<\/a><\/p>\n

If a credit card pre-authorized payment has not been settled in\u00a0Sage Payment Solutions, you can void a Credit Card Pre-authorization. If a transaction has been settled in\u00a0Sage Payment Solutions, it cannot be void Credit Card Pre-authorization.<\/p>\n

To void a credit card pre-authorization:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Open\u00a0Order Entry<\/strong>>\u00a0O\/E Transactions<\/strong>\u00a0>\u00a0Order Entry<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  2. Select an order number for which a credit card payment has been\u00a0pre-authorized.
    \nNote:<\/strong> If credit card payment has not been pre-authorization for an order, so
    \nVoid Pre- authorization <\/strong>button will not appear on OE screen.<\/li>\n
  3. Click\u00a0Void Pre-auth<\/strong>. The O\/E Pre-authorization screen appears.
    \n    \"OE<\/a><\/li>\n
  4. Click\u00a0Void<\/strong>. The Process Credit Card screen appears.
    \n    \"Pre-authorization<\/a><\/li>\n
  5. Click\u00a0Void Pre-authorization<\/strong>. Sage Payment Solutions\u00a0voids the\u00a0pre-authorization.
    \n    \"Process<\/a><\/li>\n
  6. Click OK
    \n    \"Click<\/a><\/li>\n
  7. Close the O\/E Pre-authorization and Void Pre-authorization windows. After this, you will be back at the Order Entry window. Click the Post button, then click the Close button. You have now voided a Pre-authorization transaction.
