The process flows provide a clear view of the steps that\u2019s needs to be followed while performing any activities.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sageaccpacerp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/1.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter  wp-image-1725\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sageaccpacerp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"672\" height=\"465\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">The module is integrated with system security and every process flow should be individually assigned to users before they can view or use it.\u00a0 To assign; open <strong>Administrative Services &gt; Assign Visual Process Flows<\/strong>. \u00a0\u00a0Select User and process flow that needs to be assigned to the users.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sageaccpacerp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/2.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter  wp-image-1726\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sageaccpacerp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"419\" height=\"353\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">The module comes with predefined process flows for most of the transactions covering GL, AP, AR, PO, OE, Bank and IC.\u00a0 But this doesn\u2019t stop here.\u00a0 The existing process flows are customizable; just \u00a0<strong>right click and Edit<\/strong> on the desired flow. This opens up a easy to use designer and you can do anything like adding the new links to programs, change texts, colors, background etc.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sageaccpacerp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/3.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter  wp-image-1727\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sageaccpacerp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/3.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"647\" height=\"438\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">You cannot overwrite the standard process flow and you will have to save it with the new title.\u00a0 Ensure that the custom process flows are stored under Sage 300 ERP programs folder i.e. <strong>Sage\\Sage 300 ERP\\ProcessFlow\\ENG<\/strong> otherwise you may not be able to assign it to the users.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sageaccpacerp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/4_img_MyAP.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter  wp-image-1724\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sageaccpacerp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/4_img_MyAP.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"672\" height=\"463\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>As you can see I was able change text of Vendor Records to <strong>My Company Vendor Records<\/strong>.\u00a0 Then I added a new link to <strong>Vendor Groups<\/strong>.\u00a0 There is much more to do so go ahead and design the way you like it!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Sage 300 ERP has bunch of new features; one of the feature Visual Process Flow caught my attention and it\u2019s truly amazing!
