Computer mouse simplifies the way you navigate through a computer screen by pointing and clicking on the screen. However, using mouse is not necessarily the most efficient way to select and open items on your screen.<\/p>\n

Sage (Accpac) 300 ERP simplifies the data entry task by incorporating various features. In Sage (Accpac) 300 ERP, there is handful of useful shortcut keys that you can use to save time to navigate through the screens. To see how the shortcut keys can be used in Sage 300 ERP, let us use the O\/E Order Entry screen as an example.
\nYou can use the following shortcut keys to navigate through the orders:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Page Up<\/strong> \u2013 Go to the first (top) record in a list.<\/li>\n
  2. Page Down<\/strong> \u2013 Go to the last (bottom) record in a list.<\/li>\n
  3. Ctrl\/Page Up<\/strong> – Go to the first record in a Finder list.<\/li>\n
  4. Ctrl\/Page Down<\/strong> \u2013 Go to the last record in a Finder list.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Now let us see how shortcut keys can be used in the Order Detail grid highlighted in red:<\/p>\n

      \n
    1. Ctrl\/Tab<\/strong> \u2013 Move out of a grid or list to the button or field following the grid or list.<\/li>\n
    2. Ctrl\/Shift\/Tab<\/strong> \u2013 Move out of a grid or list to the button or field directly above the grid or list.<\/li>\n
    3. Home <\/strong>\u2013 Go to the first entry in a list.<\/li>\n
    4. End<\/strong> \u2013 Go to the last entry in a list.<\/li>\n
    5. Up Arrow\/Down Arrow<\/strong> \u2013 Go up or down one line in a grid.<\/li>\n
    6. Tab or Enter<\/strong> \u2013 Go to the next column.<\/li>\n
    7. SHIFT + TAB or SHIFT + ENTER<\/strong> \u2013 Go the previous column.<\/li>\n
    8. F9<\/strong> \u2013 If you select any of the line items and press this key, you can drill down on the line item.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      1. F5<\/strong> – If you have the cursor inserted in any field that has a Finder icon (the one with the magnifying glass icon), you can activate the Finder search function by pressing the F5 key.<\/li>\n
      2. Calculator<\/strong> \u2013 If you select any of the columns related to quantity, amount and press Shift+<\/strong> key, a calculator appears where the required calculations can be done.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        1. Tab Key<\/strong> \u2013 The tab key can be used to navigate from one tab to another.<\/li>\n
        2. Navigation Keys<\/strong> \u2013 There are following four navigation keys in Accpac:<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

          First, Previous, Next and Last<\/strong><\/p>\n

          a. First: <\/strong>To go to the first record from the finder list
          \nb. Previous: <\/strong>To go to the Previous record from the finder list
          \nc. Next: <\/strong>To go to the Next record from the finder list
          \nd. Last: <\/strong>To go to the Last record from the finder list<\/p>\n
