In such cases, Auto Apply option in AR Receipt Entry UI can be used \u00a0to facilitate auto-receipt processing based on AR due date of posted documents.<br \/>\n<strong>Note:<\/strong> This feature will only work if user wants to create receipts for document starting with earliest due date.<br \/>\nFollow below mentioned steps to use Auto Apply option:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px\"><strong>1.<\/strong>\u00a0Navigate to AR Receipt Entry UI and enter Customer Information and receipt amount<br \/>\n<strong>2.<\/strong>\u00a0Select Auto Apply check box and click on Go button<br \/>\n<strong>3.<\/strong>\u00a0Accounts Receivable automatically applies receipt amount to outstanding invoices, debit notes, and interest charges for customer, starting with documents earliest due date.<br \/>\n<strong>4.<\/strong>\u00a0In 1<sup>st<\/sup> line if an amount is left over, it gets applied to the document due next, and so on, until the amount is fully applied.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sageaccpacerp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/AR-Receipt-Entry.png\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter  wp-image-2439\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sageaccpacerp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/AR-Receipt-Entry.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"737\" height=\"496\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;padding-left: 30px\"><strong>5.<\/strong>\u00a0While applying credit notes, prepayments, partially applied receipts, and unapplied cash transactions against the current receipt, change their Apply status to Yes in grid before clicking on Go button.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">This way Auto Apply option can be used to automatically apply receipt amount to a range of outstanding transactions starting from the document with earliest due date.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>While creating Receipt Entry in Sage 300 ERP (formerly known as Sage Accpac ERP) user needs to select each document individually against which receipt would be prepared.
