While using Sage 300 we may notice that the 1099 codes or amounts we have recorded in the system are incorrect and we need to correct the same. We will be discussing the same in this topic.<\/p>\n

New Stuff:<\/em> <\/strong>Document Date vs Posting Date on AP Invoice Entry<\/a><\/p>\n

A user may configure Sage 300 to default the 1099 amount from the invoice amount from within the A\/P Setup user interface.\"A\/P<\/a><\/p>\n

Follow below steps to Change the 1099 Code:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Go to\u00a0A\/P Vendors\u00a0and select\u00a0Vendors<\/li>\n
  2. Select the vendor with the issue<\/li>\n
  3. Click on the\u00a0Invoicing\u00a0tab<\/li>\n
  4. Choose the\u00a0correct\u00a01099 code<\/li>\n
  5. Click on\u00a0Save\u00a0and then\u00a0Close<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    \"A\/P<\/a><\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n

    Follow below steps to Allow Editing of 1099 Amounts:<\/p>\n

    1. Go to\u00a0A\/P Set Up\u00a0and select\u00a0Options<\/li>\n
    2. Select\u00a0Transactions\u00a0Tab<\/li>\n
    3. Check of\u00a0Allow Edit of 1099\/CPRS Amounts<\/li>\n
    4. Click\u00a0Save\u00a0and then\u00a0Close<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      \"A\/P<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

      Follow below steps to update the Vendor\u2019s 1099 Amount:<\/p>\n

        \n
      1. Go to\u00a0A\/P Vendors\u00a0and choose\u00a0A\/P 1099\/CPRS Inquiry<\/li>\n
      2. Filter to\u00a0Vendor(s)<\/li>\n
      3. Filter to the incorrect 1099 Code<\/li>\n
      4. Click on the double arrows\u00a0(Go option)<\/li>\n
      5. Note the information for all entries listed<\/li>\n
      6. Filter to the correct\u00a01099 Code<\/li>\n
      7. Click on the double arrows\u00a0(Go option)<\/li>\n
      8. Press the\u00a0Insert key\u00a0to add a new line<\/li>\n
      9. Enter the appropriate information for the detail line<\/li>\n
      10. Repeat the previous 2 steps for each detail line<\/li>\n
      11. Filter to the incorrect 1099 Code.<\/li>\n
      12. Click on the double arrows\u00a0(Go option).<\/li>\n
      13. Press the\u00a0Delete\u00a0key to remove the incorrect detail lines individually.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        So using the above steps you can easily correct the 1099 details.<\/p>\n
