Also you have an\noption to define Minimum and Maximum quantity of your inventory using reorder\nquantities screen so that someone can know the overstocked quantity on that\nparticular location. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One of our client had requested this customization using this screen where user can define the minimum\nand maximum quantity on I\/C\nReorder Quantities screen for every inventory item for every location\nand then using this configuration, we did restrict the users by allowing only defined quantity to be transferred from one\nlocation to other. So we did customize I\/C Transfers Screen, where whenever\nuser tries to transfer more quantities than the defined in the reorder quantity\nthen user gets notified that the transferred quantity exceeds its max limits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Please refer below screen shots for configuration part. We will first define maximum quantity for an item in I\/C Reorder Quantities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Inventory Control &#8211;&gt;I\/C Items and Price Lists&#8211;&gt;Reorder Quantities<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"616\" height=\"470\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sageaccpacerp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/1-2.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-26797\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sageaccpacerp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/1-2.png 616w, https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sageaccpacerp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/1-2-300x229.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 616px) 100vw, 616px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>As you can see in above screen shot, \u2018Maximum Quantity\u2019 is \u201850\u2019 or Item \u2018A1-656\/0\u2019 at Location \u20182\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Now before heading towards I\/C transfers, we will check how\nmuch quantity is available for item \u2018A1-656\/0\u2019 at location \u20182\u2019. So whenever user tries to do transfer to location \u20182\u2019 program will always\ncheck for quantity available and transfer quantity if the sum of both the quantity\ngoes beyond \u201850\u2019 (which is defined in reorder screen) program will restrict\nusers from doing this transfer to Location \u20182\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Let\u2019s try to understand with the below example, suppose user wants to make I\/C Transfers of 30 Qty of an Item \u2018A1-656\/0\u2019 from location \u20181\u2019 to location \u20182\u2019 .<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"785\" height=\"619\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sageaccpacerp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/3-1.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-26799\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sageaccpacerp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/3-1.png 785w, https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sageaccpacerp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/3-1-300x237.png 300w, https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sageaccpacerp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/3-1-768x606.png 768w, https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sageaccpacerp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/3-1-660x520.png 660w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 785px) 100vw, 785px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>As you can see in above screen, user is transferring Quantity 30 from Location 1 to location 2 for item \u2018A1-656\/0\u2019.
