Below that you can see the two tabs that is Standard\nQueries and Custom queries. Standard queries tab will display all the standard\nqueries for selected data source. By using this standard query user can further\nfilter\/ sort or select specific columns and can save this view as their own\ncustom queries. These user crated queries appears in the \u201cCustom Queries\u201d tab.<\/p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Creating\nCustom Queries:&nbsp; <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><p style=\"text-align: justify\">To\ncreate custom query you need to first save the standard query for any data\nsource and by adding further filters, selecting particular columns etc. user\ncan create their queries. These queries can be saved by giving appropriate names.\nThis modified queries appears in the Custom Queries tab and can be used in\nfuture. As per departments\/roles of the users in the organization the request\nfor different kind of views and needs specific information on regular basis,\nusing these custom queries will save the time required for filtration sorting\netc. As these queries will be readily available for the users in future to view\ndata in desired format.<\/p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Example:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><p style=\"text-align: justify\">We will create a custom query form inbuilt Data source let\u2019s consider \u201cPayment Inquiry (Functional Currency)\u201d. The data will be populated in the table as displayed in below screenshot:<\/p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"text-align:center\"> <a rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sageaccpacerp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/3-1.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full\" style=\"border: 1px solid #A9A9A9; padding: 2px; margin: 2px;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sageaccpacerp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/3_Payment-Inquiry-FC.jpg\" alt=\"Payment Inquiry -FC\"><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><p style=\"text-align: justify\">To create a custom query which will always display the \u201cCash Payments\u201d done we will add filter on Payment Type column as displayed in below screenshot: <\/p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"text-align:center\"><a rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sageaccpacerp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/3-1.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full\" style=\"border: 1px solid #A9A9A9; padding: 2px; margin: 2px;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sageaccpacerp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/4_Cash-Payment-filter.jpg\" alt=\"Cash Payment filter\"><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><p style=\"text-align: justify\">As you can see only payments with payment type code \u201cCash\u201d are getting populated. We need to save this query using \u201cSave Query\u201d button provided. It will open the page as displayed below. User can add appropriate \u2018Query Name\u2019, specify Type: Public\/Private and state the \u2018Description\u2019 that will better explain the query result.<\/p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"text-align:center\"> <a rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sageaccpacerp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/3-1.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full\" style=\"border: 1px solid #A9A9A9; padding: 2px; margin: 2px;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sageaccpacerp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/4_Save-Custom-Query-for-Cash-Payment.jpg\" alt=\"Save Custom Query for Cash Payment\"><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><p style=\"text-align: justify\">As shown in the below screenshot this custom query for only Cash payments will be readily available from next time in the Inquiries -&gt;Custom Queries Tab under same inbuilt Data Source as displayed in below screenshot:<\/p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"text-align:center\"> <a rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sageaccpacerp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/3-1.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full\" style=\"border: 1px solid #A9A9A9; padding: 2px; margin: 2px;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sageaccpacerp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/5_Custom-Query-for-Cash-Payment.jpg\" alt=\"Custom Query for Cash Payment\"><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><p style=\"text-align: justify\">User can any time retrieve the data based on this saved filters by double clicking these custom queries.
