In Sage 300 we can set prefix and length of any document number as per our preference or change it whenever we need. ln this blog we will see how we can set or change prefix,length and next number of OE document numbers in sage 300 v 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To change any document number’s prefix, length and next number navigate to >> Order Entry >> OE Setup >> OE Options >> Documents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After opening document tab in OE options you will see screen as shown in below screen shot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the above screen shot we can see that all the documents which are used in Order entry module are listed in document type coloumn. Now we can change length, prefix and next number by editing and providing values as per our preference.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
