In Sage 300 ERP users can face unwanted warnings related to fiscal year, when opened a new company a pop up appears saying \u201cThe session date does not exist in common services fiscal calendar. (For more information, contact your sage 300administrator or view the Fiscal Calendar in common Services.)\u201d. It simply means that the session date and the fiscal year doesn\u2019t match with each other.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If we do not correct this, user can face many errors while making transactions in sage 300 ERP. In this blog we will show how we can correct this issue, so that it does not makes any problem to a user while using sage 300.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To overcome this problem, we need to make sure that the session date and fiscal year matches with each other, and to do this we need to first add current year\u2019s fiscal year in sage 300 ERP.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Navigate to: Common services>>Fiscal calendar. An interface will open as below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As we can see the opened fiscal year here in the calendar is 2020 which is already passed, now we need to add current year fiscal year i.e., 2021. To add new fiscal year user, need to just click on plus button and click on add and save below. Please refer below screen shot for better understanding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once clicked on add and save buttons, sage 300 will open a new fiscal year which will match with session date and year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
