Sage 300 provides us the standard Import features for the standard screens, but sometimes user wants to import the data from a custom view using the OCX screen. So we are going to discuss how to use import feature from custom views programmatically.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Below is the Code snippet:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. The below code is auto-generated when modifying the UI using OCX and it is by default commented.<\/li>
  2. We have used the FLAT view and have provided the view id is \u201cGD0322\u201d.<\/li>
  3. If the requirement for the Header-Detail view, you will need to provide the Header View and Detail View id in the code. (e.g. \u201cGL0001\u201d is  Header View and \u201cGJ0004\u201d is a Detail view)<\/li>
  4. If the requirement for the Batch-Header-Detail, you will need to enter the Header View, Detail view, and the Batch Id in the code.<\/li>
  5. Using the “Import” you can show the \u201cImport\u201d dialog box on the screen.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    After changing the code above it shows the below import dialog box on the custom OCX screen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
