As we all are aware that in Sage 300 we can create Custom views, in this blog we are going to discuss something about it. First step of view creation is set Environment Variables. You need to check each path from .BAT file.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sometimes while making a resource, below error can occur \u201cfatal error U1077: \u2018GenLangCAB\u2019 : return code \u20180*2\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Please refer the below screenshot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

By looking at this error developer did not understand what the error is, so check the error file on the path where the error log file is generated like here path :- \u201cc:\\Dev\\gd\\source\\eng\\resource\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sometimes the files required are not on the standard paths due to which such errors “Falied to create ENGClient.cab” may occur. In this case, you need to check the paths of GDSET .BAT (moduleidSET.BAT) file from C:\\Dev\\GD\\<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As in example case above the CabSDK was missing, so here need to search for it and need to place it on the required path i.e. C: drive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
