Sage 300 comes with many versions and many product updates; every new version has several product updates which ads some additional features to the base version of sage 300. Product updates are very important for some reasons like if an addon or feature is made compatible with version and a specific product update then its important to install correct version and product updated to run that addon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

NEW STUFF:<\/u><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sometimes while installing product update, we get an error which says \u2018You must install sage 300 2020 before applying this product update\u2019 this error basically means that the base version of Sage 300 in not installed to install product update, but Sage 300 base version is already installed and still we get this error, refer below screenshot for error description.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This error appears only if sage 300 base is not installed and still you are trying to install product update and If Sage 300 is already installed and still you are getting this error this could be sage 300 key error.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sometimes when we uninstall Sage 300 older version to install higher version we go and delete sage 300 important keys from regedit which causes this error and to avoid this error we should never delete Accpac folder from regedit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
