In this blog we are going to discuss about adding additional columns in standard Lot pop up screen. We have done a customization where user\u2019s requirement was to fill manufacturing details on Lot tab in PO Receipt screen. Let us take an example of adding two columns MFGNO and MFGDT on PO Receipt Lot pop up screen.

Working:<\/u><\/strong>

When user updates quantity for lotted item in PO receipt detail line the Lot Number UI gets popped up wherein newly added columns i.e. MFGNO (string) and MFGDT (date) are displayed in the detail list of lot numbers. Please refer below screenshot where MFGNO and MFGDT are added on PO Receipt Lot screen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"Purchase<\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Once user posts the Receipt entry successfully the data in these two columns will be save in PO Lot table and same data will be updated in IC\u00a0 LOT master table against the corresponding Lot numbers.

As we have sub-classed IC Lot master table and PO receipt lot table the information stored on successful receipt posting will be displayed on all the standard screens while user opens Lot Number finder.

As shown in below screenshot we have opened standard Lot finder wherein MFG DT and MFG NO are being displayed against their respective lot numbers. As we can see in first screenshot we have entered MFGDT and MFGNO against Lot Number 40115-April <\/strong>\u00a0in receipt number RCP00000087 <\/strong>and this information will be available across all the screen where the Lot Number 40115-April <\/strong>flows in Sage 300 ERP.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Similar customization can be done for Serial Numbers as well. As subclassing of standard tables\/views is to be done this functionality is integrated with an Addon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
