This new release has introduced additional features to Sage 300 Desktop screens. In this blog we are going to discuss regarding one of the feature for setting \u2018Location\u2019 for all the PO Purchase Order detail lines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>New Stuff:\u00a0<\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sageaccpacerp\/2021\/10\/14\/bulk-invoicing-for-sage-300c-web-version-2021-released\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Bulk Invoicing for Sage 300c Web Version 2021 Released<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><u>Navigation for the report:<\/u><\/strong> You can navigate to standard PO Purchase Orders screen using navigation as P\/O Transactions \u00e0 P\/O Purchase Orders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<center><a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sageaccpacerp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/1_PurchaseOrderEntry_SL.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full\" style=\"border: 1px solid #A9A9A9; padding: 2px; margin: 2px;\nalign: center;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sageaccpacerp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/1_PurchaseOrderEntry_SL.jpg\" alt=\"PurchaseOrderEntry\"><\/a><\/center>\n\n\n\n<p>As displayed in screenshot above an additional button is provided as \u201cSet Location\u201d.&nbsp; Using this button user can set value for \u2018Location\u2019 for all purchase order detail lines. It will overwrite and set same value as purchase order header \u201cShip-to Location\u201d to all the detail lines \u2018Location\u2019 field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As you can see in below screenshot, for purchase order in example the header \u2018Ship-to Location\u2019 field value can be blank or can be different than the detail lines \u2018Location\u2019 field\u2019s values. Also header level ship-to location can be changed after creating PO or adding details.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<center><a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sageaccpacerp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/2_PurchaseOrderEntry_SL.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full\" style=\"border: 1px solid #A9A9A9; padding: 2px; margin: 2px;\nalign: center;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sageaccpacerp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/2_PurchaseOrderEntry_SL.jpg\" alt=\"PurchaseOrderEntry2\"><\/a><\/center>\n\n\n\n<p>In all these scenarios user may want to set all the detail lines same \u2018Location\u2019 value as that of header\u2019s ship-to location. So, instead of setting the value for each detail line, user can click on \u201cSet Location\u201d button and you will get this field updated for all the detail lines. Please refer to screenshot below:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<center><a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sageaccpacerp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/3_PurchaseOrderEntry_SL.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full\" style=\"border: 1px solid #A9A9A9; padding: 2px; margin: 2px;\nalign: center;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sageaccpacerp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/3_PurchaseOrderEntry_SL.jpg\" alt=\"PurchaseOrderEntry3\"><\/a><\/center>\n\n\n\n<p>This feature, is very much useful when Purchase Order contains large no. of detail lines, it saves time for updating details and prevents user mistakes too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><u>Note:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>User will be prompted for confirmation, for overwriting detail line \u2018Location\u2019 values with header \u2018Ship-To Location\u2019 value.
