This new release has introduced additional features to Sage 300 Desktop screens. In this blog we are going to discuss regarding one of the feature for setting \u2018Expected Arrival Date\u2019 for all the PO Purchase Order detail lines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>New Stuff:\u00a0<\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sageaccpacerp\/2021\/10\/20\/provision-to-set-location-for-po-purchase-order-details\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Provision to Set Location for PO Purchase Order Details<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><u>Navigation for the report:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can navigate to standard PO Purchase Orders screen using navigation as P\/O Transactions \u00e0 P\/O Purchase Orders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<center><a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sageaccpacerp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/1_PurchaseOrderEntry_EA.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full\" style=\"border: 1px solid #A9A9A9; padding: 2px; margin: 2px;\nalign: center;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sageaccpacerp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/1_PurchaseOrderEntry_EA.jpg\" alt=\"POScreen\"><\/a><\/center>\n\n\n\n<p>As displayed in screenshot above an additional button is provided as \u201cSet Arrival Date\u201d.\u00a0 Using this button user can set value for Arrival Date for all purchase order detail lines. It will overwrite and set same value as purchase order header \u201cArrival Date\u201d to all the detail lines \u2018Expected Arrival Date\u2019 field. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As you can see in below screenshot, for purchase order in example all the detail lines are having Expected Arrival Date field value at details is blank. If we set \u2018Arrival Date\u2019 for Purchase Order, then also the already added detail lines \u2018Expected Arrival Date\u2019 field remains blank.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<center><a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sageaccpacerp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/2_PurchaseOrderEntry_EA.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full\" style=\"border: 1px solid #A9A9A9; padding: 2px; margin: 2px;\nalign: center;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sageaccpacerp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/2_PurchaseOrderEntry_EA.jpg\" alt=\"POScreen2\"><\/a><\/center>\n\n\n\n<p>Another case might be, header Arrival Date value is different and details are set different and user may be \u00a0want to change it to have all the detail lines to have same Arrival Date value. So, instead of setting the value for each detail line, user can click on \u201cSet Arrival Date\u201d button and you will get this field updated for all the detail lines. Please refer to screenshot below:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<center><a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sageaccpacerp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/3_PurchaseOrderEntry_EA.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full\" style=\"border: 1px solid #A9A9A9; padding: 2px; margin: 2px;\nalign: center;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sageaccpacerp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/3_PurchaseOrderEntry_EA.jpg\" alt=\"POScreen3\"><\/a><\/center>\n\n\n\n<p>This feature, is very much useful when Purchase Order contains large no. of detail lines, it saves time for updating details and prevents user mistakes too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><u>Note:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>User will be prompted for confirmation, for overwriting detail line values with header \u2018Expected Arrival Date\u2019 value.
