Earlier in our module, there was a feature that did not allow user to enter any item on matrix from a style when even 1 item was inactive. This feature was developed so as to avoid further errors due to inactive items. We have now enhanced this feature in the module to prohibit inactive items on transaction screens. This means, now user will be able to load all items on the matrix and the inactive items will be ignored (Exempted). This will help to reduce the inefficiency of the transactions. Also it will be helpful as user will not have to keep a track of Active\/Inactive items in a style and it will be directly handled on transaction level.

Lets take an example to understand our new enhancement. Here in below figure Item \u201cTRD-B\/SS\u201d is an inactive item.<\/p>\n\n\n

We will be adding this item in our GreyMatrix grid of PO Requisition Entry screen. After clicking on Matrix button of PO Requisition Entry screen GreyMatrix grid will appear and as can be seen in below figure 2, we have assigned 1 quantity for \u201cTRD-B\/SS\u201d item.<\/p>\n\n\n

Now, when we save the data on the grid, on PO Requisition Entry screen a message will pop up saying that the item \u201cTRD-B\/SS\u201d is an inactive item, refer below figure 3.<\/p>\n\n\n
