Sage 300 gives ability to modify any screens I.e. customize a standard screen functionality or adding a new functionality to the standard screen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>New Stuff:<\/em><\/span><\/strong>  <a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sageaccpacerp\/2022\/05\/31\/document-attachment-for-sage-300-advanced-standard-edition-released\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Document attachment for sage 300 Advanced &amp; Standard edition released<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When a developer adds a new functionality to an existing screen, it goes through a developer-testing phase where the new functionality is checked thoroughly whether it works fine and in a directed manner or not.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sometimes, while testing the modified functionality we might face an issue, which says, \u201cUser-defined type not defined\u201d and this error can stop our testing and delay the project, this need to be taken care and issue should be resolved. Refer below screen shot for your reference.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<center><a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sageaccpacerp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/user-defined.jpg\" alt=\"SalesTerrit03\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full\" style=\"border: 1px solid #A9A9A9; padding: 2px; margin: 2px;\nalign: center;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sageaccpacerp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/user-defined.jpg\" alt=\"User_Defined\"><\/a><\/center>\n\n\n\n<p>In order to resolve the issue we need to first understand the error reason, the warning message is self-explanatory by reading the warning message from the above screenshot we can say that the User-defined type is not defined.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Please follow below steps to resolve this issue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Go to <strong>menu tools<\/strong>-&gt;<strong>reference<\/strong><\/li><li>Check if there are any missing reference.<\/li><li>If there are any missing references, add those references and re-compile the code again.
