ERP stands for Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software, which is being used in every organization from department to department for its day to day activities and in an organization there are many departments like inventory management, order management, production planning, shipping and accounting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While using Sage 300c web screens we have to start the IIS but while starting it may throw an error. But, for using Sage 300 web version it must have to start. In this blog we are going to discuss about issue due to which IIS gets failed to restart and it throws Error as shown below:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With the previous version of sage 300 it was not giving the problem of IIS but from sage v2021\/68A this environment specific issue occurs related to IIS. While configuring Sage 300 setup, IIS config file gets changed and that causes this issue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To overcome this issue you have to change the config file of IIS, below are the steps which have to be followed to resolve this issue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Go to the folder and search for the following path \u201cC:\\Windows\\System32\\inetsrv\\config\u201d.<\/li>
  2. After this you have to open the applicationHost xml configuration file in that you have to search for  \u201c<location path=”Default Web Site\/Sage300″><\/li>
  3. Find <system.web>  node, in that you have to remove or comment out the following node.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

               <authentication mode=”Windows” \/><\/p>\n\n\n\n

     <\/system.web><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    After commenting out\/removing out the highlighted part .Now you can start IIS and then try to start the server now it will work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
