As we all know with every release of Sage 300 versions, it comes up with new features, enhancements to existing functionality, and increased security. With the release of Sage 300 ERP 2023.1, there are many features introduced to existing functions. This release provides the admin more transparency with other users&#8217; work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>New Stuff :-<\/em><\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sageaccpacerp\/2023\/01\/19\/setting-an-additional-cost-for-p-o\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Setting an Additional Cost for P\/O<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the Sage 300 2023.1 release, Sage has introduced a new report that is &#8216;User Activity report&#8217; which provides in detail user activity logs for the companies in the system database. In this blog, we are going to discuss this new feature in the latest release of Sage 300.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Currently, the User Activity report is only available in Sage 300 Desktop.<\/li><li>Also, this feature is only available to Sage 300 administrator users or the users who are granted login\/logout information permission in the Administrative Service module.<\/li><li>The new checkbox called &#8216;Enable User Activity Logs&#8217; is added to the existing Database setup screen. To enable this feature, we need to check this checkbox while editing System Database in the Database Setup utility.<\/li><li>Basically, this checkbox allows Sage 300 to start or stop recording user activity for companies in this system database. Please see the below screenshot.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<center><a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sageaccpacerp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/UsrActRpt.png\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full\" style=\"border: 1px solid #A9A9A9; padding: 2px; margin: 2px;\nalign: center;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sageaccpacerp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/UsrActRpt.png\" alt=\"UsrActRpt\"><\/a><\/center>\n\n\n\n<p>Once this option is selected in the Database Setup utility, a new report screen is added in the Administrative Service module. You can refer to the below screenshot where &#8216;User Activity Report&#8217; is added under the Administrative Service > Administrative Reports menu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<center><a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sageaccpacerp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/UsrActRpt1.png\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full\" style=\"border: 1px solid #A9A9A9; padding: 2px; margin: 2px;\nalign: center;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sageaccpacerp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/UsrActRpt1.png\" alt=\"UsrActRpt1\"><\/a><\/center>\n\n\n\n<p>There are multiple filters available on the screen by using which you can run this report. You can run this report specific to the company or user.
