In Sage300 ERP<\/a> Order <\/strong>is a commercial document given to the customers indicating Items, Unit Price, Type of order, quantities, and agreed prices for products or services. Order can be created with or without creating Quote first. In this blog we will discuss about the customization that we have done on Order Entry screen for one of our client to \u201crestrict posting of Order if Item’s unit price or Document subtotal is zero \u201c. This customization will prevent posting of Order for items with zero quantity and order with zero subtotal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

New Stuff :<\/em> Document Numbering customization on Purchase Order Entry based on Item Types<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This customization will check if order has any item with zero quantity or zero unit price. It will restrict order posting if document subtotal is zero and for item with zero quantity and zero unit price.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Order will be created as per the requirement. While posting the order customization will check if order has any items with zero unit price, zero quantity, zero order subtotal. If order has item with zero unit price, zero quantity or order subtotal is zero in such case order posting will be restricted with a warning message.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In above screenshot’s we can see that order which has item’s with zero quantity and zero unit price and Order which has zero order subtotal. On posting of such order’s user will get an warning message and posting of such order’s will be halted till order gets corrected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
