In this blog we will discuss about the customization on order entry screen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When creating an Order Entry transaction, the user is required to apply a discount. If the user does not enter a discount or leaves the discount percentage blank, the transaction will automatically be marked as \u201cOn Hold\u201d<\/strong> when posted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Example:<\/strong>
If a user named XYZ enters a discount percentage of zero and clicks “Post,” the transaction will be placed on hold<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Removing the \u201cOn Hold\u201d Status<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

To remove the \u201cOn Hold\u201d<\/strong> tag from an Order Entry transaction, the user must have the \u201cUnit Price Overriding\u201d<\/strong> permission for OE Order Entry transactions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If a different user attempts to post the transaction, the system will first check whether that user has the \u201cUnit Price Overriding\u201d<\/strong> permission. If they do, the program will allow posting and automatically remove the on hold<\/strong> status.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
