To make the report more meaningful and aligned with client requirements, we have introduced a couple of new enhancements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In this blog, we are going to discuss the enhancements done in the Order Book Report.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>New Stuff : &#8211;<\/em><\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sageaccpacerp\/2025\/09\/30\/automating-bom-purchase-orders-in-sage-300\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Automating BOM Purchase Orders in Sage 300<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Key Enhancements<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Change from Ship Date to Order Date<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Earlier, the report interface displayed Ship Date as the main selection criterion. Based on client feedback, this has now been replaced with Order Date.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Users can now generate reports based on when the order was created, not when it was scheduled to ship.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The interface has been updated with From Order Date and To Order Date filters for easy selection.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Below is the updated interface for the <strong>\u201cOrderBookReport\u201d:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<center><a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sageaccpacerp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/image-11.png\" alt=\"\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" Output- Customer Master><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full\" style=\"border: 1px solid #A9A9A9; padding: 2px; margin: 2px; align: center;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sageaccpacerp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/image-11.png\" alt=\"\"><\/a><\/center><font size=\"2\"><center>Figure 1 : UI for Order Value Outstanding report<\/center><\/font>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Addition of Salesperson Column<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>We have also added a new column for Salesperson in the report output. This field reflects the primary salesperson assigned for the order. With this new column, you can: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Track orders handled by each salesperson.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Analyse sales performance across your team.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Output Report<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>The generated report now includes the Salesperson column along with existing fields such as Customer Number, Item Number, Order Value, etc. Users can filter data using the updated parameters (Order Date, Customer Number, Salesperson, Item Number) to view customized results.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Benefits of These Enhancements<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Improved Analysis<\/strong> \u2013 Focus on actual order booking using Order Date.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Sales Tracking<\/strong> \u2013 Visibility of order data by Salesperson.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Ease of Use<\/strong> \u2013 No additional training required, the interface remains intuitive.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>In this way, the updated Order Book Report provides greater control and insights for monitoring sales orders in Sage 300 ERP.
