To make this process more reliable, a set of enhancements has recently been made to how invoices are created and validated during integration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>New Stuff:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sageaccpacerp\/2026\/10\/30\/auto-day-end-scheduling-simplifying-daily-operations-in-sage-300\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sageaccpacerp\/2026\/10\/30\/auto-day-end-scheduling-simplifying-daily-operations-in-sage-300\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Auto Day End Scheduling: Simplifying Daily Operations in Sage 300<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Earlier, if an incoming invoice failed validation partway through processing \u2014 for example, due to a missing vendor, GL account, or optional field value \u2014 the invoice batch had already been created in Sage before the failure occurred. This left behind empty batches with no entries, which users then had to locate and delete manually from the AP Invoice Batch List.<br>A related issue occurred with optional fields such as HSN Code, Employee, and Cost Centre. If a required optional field was not fully configured with &#8220;Value Set&#8221; in AP Setup, or if the incoming value was blank, the invoice would fail with an error instead of completing successfully.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With this enhancement, the integration now automatically cleans up any batch that ends up with zero entries, so no empty batches are left behind regardless of why an invoice failed.
