Sage 300 ERP provides a report named Stock Status which gives detailed information about Inventory status, opening, change and closing balance etc.<\/p>\n

We have developed a similar report named as Stock Summary, which is a statement of the stock-in-hand for a particular date. It is one of the primary inventory statements and it updates the stock record in real time as and when transactions are entered. Stock Summary provides information on stocks and shows the quantity details, rate and closing value of the stock items.<\/p>\n

The standard report allows us to view the total change in Item quantity or cost over a period of time. Whereas our custom report allows you to view the change quantity and cost in 2 different categories i. e: Inwards and Outwards.<\/p>\n

The report displays the stock activity showing each transaction in and out of stock for the selected period. The Stock Summary displays the flow of stock, i.e. Opening Balance, Goods Inwards, Goods Outward and Closing Balance, as shown below:<\/p>\n

\nThe report can be filtered on from and To Posting date, Category, and Item.\u00a0The report is grouped on Item category.

\nThe report shows the following data calculated as:<\/p>\n

\u2022 For Opening Balance, Inwards, Outwards and Closing Balance, report display Item Stock UOM with Quantity.
\n\u2022 Quantity=It the item Quantity in Stock UOM.
\n\u2022 Value=It shows transaction Cost of the Item.
\n\u2022 Rate = (Value \/ Quantity) for Opening Balance, Inwards, Outwards and Closing Balance.
\n\u2022 Closing balance Qty\/value = Opening Balance Qty\/value + Inwards Qty\/value – Outwards Qty\/value.<\/p>\n

The report also shows the opening and closing balance if the there are no transactions available in the selected date range.
\nAlso, it has a filter for printing item with 0 cost and quantity. The report displays the stock activity showing Summary of all transaction in and out of stock for the selected range of date category wise item for all location.
