Select I\/C Periodic Processing &gt; Lot Splits\/Combines to display I\/C Lot Split\/Combine form.<br \/>\n<strong>Splitting Lots:<\/strong><br \/>\nBy following simple steps mentioned below, you can split an existing lot.<br \/>\n1. Open I\/C Lot Split\/Combine form as shown in the screenshot below:<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sageaccpacerp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/17.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-8318\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sageaccpacerp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/17.jpg\" alt=\"1\" width=\"762\" height=\"476\" \/><\/a><br \/>\n2. From the Type dropdown, select the Type as \u201cSplit\u201d and<br \/>\n3. Enter item Number of the lotted inventory item.<br \/>\n4. Select the Location where the lot you want to split is stored.<br \/>\n5. You can also change the Default Transaction Date if it is required.<br \/>\n6. In the From section, enter the Lot Number of the lot you want to split, then specify the quantity you want to split.<br \/>\n7. In the \u201cTo\u201d section, select the existing lot(s) that you want to add quantities to or can also enter and create new lot numbers and provide it in the To Lot Numbers.<br \/>\n8. You can change the Stock Date of the destination lot. You can also enter an Expiry Date if required.<br \/>\n9. Click Post to split the lot .<br \/>\n<strong>Example<\/strong> : Here we take item \u201cA1-900\/G\u201d, Location as \u201c1\u201d and in the From we selected the Lot Number as \u201c00026-April\u201d and Qty.to Split as \u201c6\u201d In the To section we entered the Lot number as \u201c00028-April\u201d and Qty. Split as \u201c6\u201d. We Post the Transaction as shown in the below screenshot.<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sageaccpacerp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/25.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-8319 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sageaccpacerp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/25.jpg\" alt=\"2\" width=\"713\" height=\"483\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nDue to this transaction a new Lot is generated at location 1 with Qty Available = 6 as shown in the below screenshot:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sageaccpacerp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/37.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-8321 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sageaccpacerp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/37.jpg\" alt=\"3\" width=\"857\" height=\"497\" \/><\/a><strong>Combining Lots:<\/strong><br \/>\nBy following simple steps mentioned below, you can combine existing lot in single LOT:<br \/>\n1. Select I\/C Periodic Processing &gt; Lot Splits\/Combines to display I\/C Lot Split\/Combine form.<br \/>\n2. From the Type dropdown box, select the Type as \u201cCombine\u201d and then enter the item Number of the lotted inventory item.<br \/>\n3. Select the Location where the lots you want to combine are stored.<br \/>\n4. You can also change the Default Transaction Date if it is required.<br \/>\n5. In the \u201cTo\u201d section, enter the Lot Number of the destination lot you want to combine items into, and then enter a value in the Qty. to Combine field.<br \/>\n6. Enter the Stock Date of the lot that will have quantities added to it from the lot(s) defined in the \u201cFrom\u201d section. You can also enter the Expiry Date of the combined lot if required.<br \/>\n7. In the \u201cFrom\u201d section, select the existing lot(s) that you want to take quantities from.<br \/>\n8. Click Post to combine the lots as shown in the below screenshot<br \/>\nExample: Here we take item \u201cA1-900\/G\u201d, Location as \u201c1\u201d and in the \u201cFrom\u201d we selected the Lot Number as \u201c00027-April\u201d and Qty.to Split As \u201c15\u201d In the \u201cTo\u201d section we entered two Lot numbers as \u201c00026-April\u201d ,\u201c00024-April\u201d and Qty. Split as \u201c6\u201d and \u201c9\u201d respectively.
