For any application, a user ID and a Password is required to login. But why is a user ID required? What if we do not have a user id? Will only one user ID be sufficient to login an application from one company?<\/p>\n

To answer all the questions above is accessing the application with or without restrictions. To provide safety to the users and also track and keep safe all the company important data.<\/p>\n

Sage 300 ERP was just got introduced in my office. This is a software program that we will be using to work on our finance business processes. Now considering the questions above; I need a user ID to access sage 300 ERP with only my data which can be accessible only to me.<\/p>\n

  2. Users can access the application as per hours provided.<\/li>\n
  3. Users can change the password of their choice.<\/li>\n
  4. Security level would be smooth and in control in terms of access.<\/li>\n
  5. Calculation of working hours for a user.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Let\u2019s say I work in rotational shifts. This week I am working in the day shift and next week I will work in the night shift. Assuming I work for 10 am to 6 pm from Monday to Friday then the admin will put account restriction accordingly. Now my account is valid from Monday to Friday between 10 am to 6 pm.<\/p>\n

    The administrator will restrict my user id and access according to hours I work. There are other provisions available where admin makes sure that a user cannot change passwords itself.<\/p>\n

    It also helps us in defining and viewing security. If a user is not allowed to access system out of specified range or authorizations, user cannot enter into system.<\/p>\n
