Restricting use of an item can be achieved in SAGE 300 ERP using Serialized and Lot Inventory. You can ensure that the expired items are not available for Invoicing. Use the following screen:-<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><em>Navigate to Inventory Control -&gt; I\/c Setup -&gt;Options<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sageaccpacerp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/16.png\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-9851 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sageaccpacerp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/16.png\" alt=\"1\" width=\"491\" height=\"442\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Select the Expired Serial Allocation Message as error\/ warning in the Serials tab in the above screen.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><em>Next go to Inventory Control -&gt; I\/C Items and Price lists -&gt; Serial Numbers<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">In this screen, select the serial number for which the expiry date has to be mentioned.
