However, while creating order for Miscellaneous items, at some instance user may not be able to promote orders due to warning message mentioned below:<br \/>\n&#8211; \u00a0The miscellaneous item is not available for use in the S\/O module.<br \/>\n&#8211; \u00a0The Cost of Goods Sold Account is required. $<br \/>\n&#8211; \u00a0The Sales Account is required. $<br \/>\nIn this blog, we will discuss about few of the above error messages which occurs while promoting orders and its resolution for the same.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #993300;\"><strong>New Stuff<\/strong>: <a title=\"What\u2019s New \u2013 GUMU integration is now compatible with Sage 100 2015\" href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/2015\/05\/27\/whats-new-gumu-integration-is-now-compatible-with-sage-100-2015\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">What\u2019s New \u2013 GUMU integration is now compatible with Sage 100 2015<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>1. \u00a0 \u00a0Error Description : \u201cThe miscellaneous item \/TEST001 is not available for use in the S\/O module.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/ImageMis01.png\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-10293\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/ImageMis01.png\" alt=\"ImageMis01\" width=\"700\" height=\"426\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Reason :<\/strong> This message occurs when user is trying to promote an order with a Miscellaneous item for which \u201cAllow Use in Sales Order\u201d checkbox is not checked. If you try to create orders from Sage 100 using the same Miscellaneous item it will give you the same message.<br \/>\n<strong>Solution :<\/strong> To eliminate this warning message, user will have to check the \u201cAllow Use in Sales Order\u201d check box in the miscellaneous Item Maintenance screen . Once you have checked the check box, user should be allowed to promote orders with this Item.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/ImageMis02.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-10294\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/ImageMis02.png\" alt=\"ImageMis02\" width=\"700\" height=\"532\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>2.\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Error Description : The Cost of Goods Sold Account is required. \u0160<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/ImageMis04.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-10296\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/ImageMis04.png\" alt=\"ImageMis04\" width=\"700\" height=\"242\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Reason :<\/strong> This message occurs when Sage 100 user has not assigned default Cost of Goods Account for the selected Miscellaneous item and trying to create and promote order using the same. While creating orders using Miscellaneous Item, Sage 100 automatically set the default COGS account from the Miscellaneous Item Maintenance. In case, if the default COGS account is not set in Sage 100 then it gives the above message and will not allow users to promote orders using this item.<br \/>\n<strong>Solution :<\/strong> To resolve this error user will have to assign Cost of Goods Account in Sage 100 in Miscellaneous Item Maintenance.<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/ImageMis06.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-10298\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/ImageMis06.png\" alt=\"ImageMis06\" width=\"700\" height=\"532\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>3.\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0Error Description :- \u00a0The Sales Account is required. \u0160<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/ImageMis03.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-10295\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/ImageMis03.png\" alt=\"ImageMis03\" width=\"700\" height=\"242\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Reason :<\/strong> As mentioned above for COGS account, user may also get the error message for Sales Account, if the default value is not set for Miscellaneous Item.<br \/>\n<strong>Solution :<\/strong> You just have to assign Sales Account in the Miscellaneous Item Maintenance in Sage 100 to resolve this error message.<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/ImageMis05.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-10297\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/ImageMis05.png\" alt=\"ImageMis05\" width=\"700\" height=\"532\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nHope the above Information was helpful for users to eliminate the warning messages you may come across while Promoting Orders.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Using our GUMU&#x2122; integration user can create Orders, customers and AR invoices using the default values such as Terms code, Tax schedule, salesperson etc. in Sage CRM. \u00a0Later user can promote this order, customers or invoices created in Sage CRM to Sage 100.
