But if you are facing <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sagesoftware.co.in\/product-sage-crm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Sage CRM<\/a> installation for the first time then, it can be a little daunting. As successful CRM installation process itself determines or say confirms whether you will be facing tomcat related issues or not. In this blog, I will share one of my experience of CRM installation which led me to the scariest error of CRM world <strong><em>\u2018CRM url rewriter may not be working properly\u2019<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #993300;\"><strong><em>New Stuff:\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/2015\/09\/11\/calling-stored-procedure-from-workflow-rule\/\" target=\"_blank\">Calling Stored Procedure from Workflow Rule<\/a><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Recently while installing CRM application on one of my client\u2019s machine, I was able to proceed Database Server Login Step successfully. As sometimes, it displays message to verify Database Name and TCP\/IP Port but I was fortunate not face this one. However I was not as fortunate as I thought so, as on completion of installation process I faced the <strong>CRM url rewriter<\/strong> error.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/1.jpg\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-10958\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/1.jpg\" alt=\"1\" width=\"477\" height=\"184\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">As expected, this further led to failure of Interactive Dashboard, Export to Excel, and Mail merge functionality along with sData execution. The only error log which I could get was <strong><em>\u2018Database Connectivity Login Error\u2019<\/em><\/strong>. To check the occurrence of this issue, we explored various forums and blogs written on this particular topic. But, found every configuration correct.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Just for some trial and run method, I went for checking the settings in SQL server configuration manager and there it was. The <strong>TCP\/IP Port number<\/strong> which must be set as <strong>1433<\/strong> was configured wrong. However, making the changes straight away brought the CRM in non-working stage.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/2.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter  wp-image-10959\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/2.jpg\" alt=\"2\" width=\"695\" height=\"525\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">So the correct approach to rectify this issue was to uninstall and remove all the CRM related files from server.
