As we all know, Sage CRM comes with a powerful tool which allow system to notify users in form of Escalation emails. The Escalation feature is best utilized in Case management module of CRM wherein on breaching the SLA reminder emails goes out of system.<br \/>\nIn our recent implementation, we have extended this feature of Escalation to send birthday and anniversary reminder emails to customers. How we can make this working is explained in this blog topic.<br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>New Stuff:<span style=\"color: #000000;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/2015\/09\/29\/unable-to-download-data-through-sage-crm-mobile-apps-part-2\/\" target=\"_blank\">Unable to Download Data through Sage CRM Mobile Apps \u2013 Part 2<\/a><\/span><\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<strong>To do this follow below steps:<\/strong><br \/>\n1. Add new fields <strong>pers_birth_date<\/strong>, <strong>pers_anniversary_date<\/strong>, <strong>pers_emailflag<\/strong>, <strong>pers_dateflag<\/strong> in person entity.<br \/>\n2. Create a view under <strong>Person<\/strong> entity in order to get those person records to whom you wish to send reminder mails.<br \/>\n3. Create a Escalation Rule by navigating to <strong>Administration | Advanced Customization | Escalation.<br \/>\n<\/strong>4. Fill in the following information as given below:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">a. Select <strong>Person<\/strong> entity from Table option.<br \/>\nb. Rule Name: Birthday Reminder (As per your requirement).<br \/>\nc. Select the <strong>Rule Enabled<\/strong> check box.<br \/>\nd. Add below condition in <strong>Trigger SQL Clause<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><em>MONTH(pers_birth_date)=MONTH(GetDate()) and day (pers_birth_date) = day(GetDate()) and pers_emailflag is null and Pers_Deleted is null<\/em><br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/IMG2.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-11024\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/IMG2.jpg\" alt=\"IMG2\" width=\"1226\" height=\"407\" \/><\/a><br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\n5. Add Send Email action to the escalation rule.<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/image32.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-11021\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/image32.jpg\" alt=\"image3\" width=\"320\" height=\"530\" \/><\/a><br \/>\n6.
